Saturday 24th November:
It is with great pleasure that, the Society, is pleased to announce that we will be conducting a further Geophys of the Tannery Cottage site on Saturday 24th November.
We hope to start at around 0900 so we can compete before it gets dark.
This has become possible due to a grant being obtained, on behalf of the iAS, by our Chariman, Marika Hillson, from Nenescape.
It is hoped that this Geophys, in conunction with the one we did last year, will give further indications of what we might discover of Irthlingborough’s past.
If you would like to come down to the site to see what happens, and for a chat, we will be pleased to see you.
Bank Holiday Monday 7th May:
Irthlingborough I-Grow event; 1.00pm – 4.00pm
The society will be having a stall full of artifacts for you to learn more about archaeology and the Society itself.
Come along to have a look and talk to some of our Trustees about the recent and future activities taking place in the local area.
We look forward to seeing you.
